    What a Year!

What a year it has been. I am now the Editor for the Austin Healey Association of Southern California's monthly newsletter, Healey Motor News. So the plan this year was to take it easy with the 'Airport Racer' and not do so many things with it, with the year being so busy. We took the car to the 2007 Unique Little Car Show which was held this year in Southern California. Besides receiving a trophy for 1st place for the Austin class and Best of Show - City of Hope. Jeff Koch from Hemming's Magazine was there and wanted to do a photo shoot with our car. I am proud to say that it is on the December 2007 cover of the December issue of Hemming's Sports & Exotic Car.

We also unvealed the Bugeye Couch... Well Chair at this year's California Healey Week in Ventura CA.

The poster for the 50th Anniversary of the Austin-Healey Sprite Golden Jubilee was released

I am looking forward to seeing a lot of you at the different Sprite Celebrations next year. We are planning on taking the 'Airport Racer' to Pennsylvania and to San Diego for Conclave 2008... See you there

    Re: What a Year!

Thanks John. John Loftus took this photo at the CAR CLASSIC '05 Pasdena College of Art & Design. Where our car won "Best in Class- Race Car" against a very tuff field that included four Ferrari's. The photo first appeared on the cover of the February 2006 Healey Marque Magazine

    Re: What a Year!

    Thanks!... I think?

Never in a million years did I think, when I was putting this car together in my garage at home, that the car would get this attention that it has received. I am just glad that I get to be part of the ride through this part of this cars journey.
