    vapor

I am th (proud) owner of a 1964 MGB.

When the engine is running vapor blows out of the oil filler cap.
The oil pressure is OK and oil consumption is ...reasonable.
Is she trying to tell me something ?
    Thanks

Yes, she's trying to tell you she's old. Be gentle with her. You don't mention the color or odor of the "vapor", but if it's blue and smells like burning oil then it's likely the rings, bores, and pistons are allowing excessive blowby. Learn to appreciate the beuatiful scent of nature's fine creation and the dinosaur's supreme sacrifice or overhaul her heart. If it's white and smells like coolant, rip her head off and look for a bad gasket(head) or a cracked head. Oh, pull the spark plugs and see what they look like. Dull greasy looking dark grey to black is oil (rings, guides, etc.) whitish speckled and greenish weird smelling stuff is coolant. Good luck.
