    Pete Colella:
how did you post the pic? is there a simple way to do it?

First you have to have your pictures on the web. There are several sites that will host your pictures for free. I use http://photobucket.com/ .

When you post a message and you want to include a picture, in the top portion of the message box you will see an icon that looks like a tree next to a smiley face. Click on it. You will enter the URL. In Photo bucket the URL is underneith your picture and you can copy and paste it. It should work. It took me a while before I got bold enough to try it but now it's a piece of cake. I hope this helps. Good luck.

Eastern Southern Michigan, or Western Southern Michigan?

I'm not all that far from Eastern Southern Michigan, being in Toledo, and all...

No, it just stands for Morris, referring to the plant where it was made.  They ALL have the M suffix.

Re: Which Austin-Healey Do You Own?

I just bought a 1967 BJ8 (42419) last week.  I'm the third owner.  It was bought by a serviceman in GB and brought over here to the US.  He sold it to the gentleman who I bought it from about 28 years ago.  The current owner walked into my mechanic's garage two weeks ago enquiring if he knew anyone who wanted to buy a Healey- I jumped at the opportunity.

The car was originally Golden Beige Metallic, and I plan on returning it to that color eventually.  It's a non-overdrive/non-tilt wheel car.

I'm really quite smitten with the car.  I love it's driving charactaristics and it's looks.  It's just achingly beautiful.

Here are a couple of pictures, and hello to you all!

Re: Which Austin-Healey Do You Own?

1955 100 BN1 - Red over black, but it's been repainted because my research says that BN1's were not two-tone.
