    Engine parts for Ford 100E

I need a complete overhaul on a 1958 Anglia 100E engine. Does anyone know of a parts source in the USA? Prices plus shipping from England are on the high side.

     Thanks

    enfo,

Have you tried Dave Bean Engineering? They're pretty good on BritFord. If they can't help they may know someone who can. Good luck.

Thanks very much Bill. If I knew of Dave Bean, I had forgotten. I'll check right now. I also found out that Dean Kirsten at Anglia Obsolete does have engine parts although he really specializes in the older Upright models.

Hi I am new to the forum. I live in Meredith NH and have a 59 Anglia 100E as well.  My engine runs fine and has only 28,000 miles on it. BUT  I am looking for a clutch slave for it??? Any suggestions. Thanks Beverly

Beverly and welcome to the forum. Instead of tacking your request onto the end of an old thread, you would get better response by creating a new one. On an old one like this, many folks might not even open it to find your new entry.

Anyway, I expect it may be hard to find a new slave. I had no luck 10 years or so back looking for one. You might try the sources listed in this thread as well as Small Ford Spares in England, www.smallfordspares.co.uk as they do have a lot of parts.

A better option than a new cylinder, in my opinion, is send your old one to Whitepost Restorations, www.whitepost.com, to be bored, sleeved with brass and rebuilt. They offer a lifetime guarantee for probably less than the cost of a new one that might last 5 or 6 years. I have had many cylinders done by them over the years and they do beautiful work. I have never had reason to use their warranty.

Hi, I too am restoring my 1959 Anglia 100E and found Kip Motor Company at www.kipmotor.com. They have recently made available a free 37 page parts, servce and restoration book you can download as well have number all the parts on the car and about 90 % can be ordered from them. They are based in Texas! Yeah a viable source! Good luck......Contessa
