    Big Healey restoration

I recently recovered a '60 BT7 I lost in a divorce in 1978 - and has been butchered by so-called resto shop(s?) in Missouri. I've taken it down to the frame/scuttle and am looking for a body shop in the Kansas City area to dip/mediablast and paint. Previous Healey experience is a must.

Is there anyone out there aware of a shop within driving distance of KC?

    Would appreciate any help.

This sounds like a question for your neighbor, Bill Young.

If you don't hear from him on this, I suggest a private message to him...He'll know of any in the area!

    Re: Big Healey restoration

Hi, Davey sent me a note about your question. I can only think of a couple of places. One is Classic Carriage Works on Southwest Blvd. The other is a shop in Topeka, KS owned by Mark Canaday. I've seen Mark's work on a couple of cars (not Healeys though) and it's very good. Mark is also a LBC enthusiast so knows the ins and outs of a good restoration. I don't have his contact information handy, but can get it for you if you're interested.

    Bill,

I was asking on behalf of the originator of this post, JZumb. He's looking for a big Healey, bodywork guy in KC.

I think you just answered him!

    Thanks
