It has a webber DGEV 32/36 carb on it brand new.Ignition pertronix there distributor, coil, wires.Timing set at 13degrees at 1500rpm. New fuel pump I did notice that fuel filter never fills compleatly, car runs fine does not starve out. I added a carb spacer ,heat shield ,I made one.for it.I also added header wrap nothing helps.Called webber carbs No Help From Them. It does seem to get hot near carb from exhaust manifold. Can anyone give me some pointers.I would appreciateany help.

Aldow3, what choke arrangement do you have on the Weber? Electric, mechanical or automatic? What state are the plugs in? It almost sounds like the choke is not coming off [ auto chokes have given me grief in the past!]when the engine warms up, the plugs should tell you yes/no. Hope this helps      Cheers   ---   steve
