After replacing the lower column bush on my '66 MGB this weekend, the steering is now very heavy/tight. I replaced it with a new one and had it soaked in oil for abour 24 hours before fitting it. The slack, that was there before is gone - which is great..., but this does not feel right !?
Any ideas ? or is this normal with a new one, i.e. should I expect some kind of running-in period ?
