    New pistons for 72 MGB

I have a 72 MGB with an 18V engine.  I'm rebuilding and want to put the 8.7:1 pistons instead of the OE 8.0:1 pistons.  Do I have to modify anything in the head to do this?

Thanks.   I got to thinking...this will not make it difficult to run on pump gas will it?

    Engine rebuild question

I'm rebuilding by 1972 MGB engine.  Which plastiguage (green or red) am I supposed to use and what should the clearance be?  My old Hayes manual doesn't have such a thing.

Also, I replaced the cam/tappets.  I get the horror story that you have to start the engine and make sure the lifters are turning, throwing oil all over your nice clean engine compartment (and garage and you).
