At the moment there is no way of converting the polarity of a Pertronix ignition amplifier. You would have to replace the unit if you chose to later change polarity.
The Flamethrower distributor is a very cost effective way to replace a worn out original Lucas unit. The centrifugal and vacuum advance curves are not specifically tailored to any particular vehicle, but they are designed to be a close match to the original specs. and normally you will notice a major improvment over the drivability with the original worn out Lucas unit.
