    Rear End Swap

I have a 1967 TR4A with a 1973 TR6 motor and the solid axle rear end.  I was wondering if it was possible, and how difficult, to swap out the solid axle with an IRS from either a TR6 or TR250.  My first TR had IRS and had much better handling and since I'm doing an off the chassis restoration I should at least look into it,

    Thanks

    my2&4,

This is not so easily done. In fact, you'd have to redesign the chassis so extensively that there is a MUCH better solution. Google up Ratco Chassis and speak with them about making you a replacement chassis (not nearly as costly as you may think) to do what you want. If anyone can help you with this, it's them.
