    1979 TR7 ignition problem

Hello everyone, I have recently replaced and upgraded my alternator, coil, battery, and battery cables

on my '79 Triumph. It's an original 4-cylinder. I am not getting any spark at the plugs. I also have replaced

the old fuse box with a new blade-style fuse box. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions about why no spark?

    Thanks for your time!

    Todd

it sounds like your optical pickup in your distributor might be bad. before going that route i would replace the cap and rotor. i had a car that burned a hole thru the rotor and it no longer had spark. if those dont fix it then i would get an ignitor and install it in place of the optical pickup. hope that helps.
