    Re: Mini project update

    Wow!

Them's some specs. 1.7 on the rockers with a 310 cam?! without coil bind?! what'd you leave out the springs?!

Now I'm hungry for some actual performance figgers.

Also, what's it weigh? I'd prefer pounds American over stone or kilos, but I'll do the conversion if I gotta...

    Enjoy it.

    Re: Mini project update

That is some machine you have built there, superb job Yes

This is obviously not there to burn off the local corsa group, so what are your plans?

You will have to let us know which shows you will be taking it to.

    Re: Mini project update

thanks for your replies guys... Bill did the corner weights last weekend wo get the suspension setup and it came in at 1320.8598382 pounds just over 493 kilos so loss a fair bit of weight...add some for the plump driver through...lol   260 pound springs on the rockers 220's bounced at 7.500rpm Wink so had to upgrade. Need to get it on the dyno now to see what kind of power is there! I am guessing about 150bhp but not really opened it up full just yet, give it time to bed in and do a re-tourque on the head but so far its all looking good with about 200 miles on the clock now! however its a little wet in the UK at pressent and I don't fancy my luck much in the wet with it...Tongue Tied

    Oz,

Impressive numbers, indeed. But wow! is she peaky or what? With some good gearing this would make a very exciting track day car. Can I drive?.....

    Re: Mini project update

It was fun watching the tester stop part way through the first run and put an extra strap on the car and some ballast in the boot...bearing in mind how light the car is as well...lol it was a little twitchy on the 1st run.
