Isn't it weird that Jaguar is being bought by a concern in a former British colony from a concern in a former British colony after a concern in a former enemy state (Germany) sold its companion (Land Rover) back to the group that owned both recently. I THINK that's how it goes.
Word is, Tata, the company buying Jaguar and Land Rover, really only wanted Land Rover, but Ford would not sell it unless Jag was included in the deal. Perhaps The U.S. should look long and hard at what has historically happened to empires...
