Yes, First remove the screws retaining the console latch. Remove screws holding down the E brake cover, lift and turn sideways, lift the shifter boot cover, remove screws [4] holding the large black plastic fairing, remove screws holding down the silver cover, this may be held down by a sealant, carefully lift off. Now you have access to the shifter screws [either phillips #3 or 10mm] fasteners. After placing the trans shifter in neutral remove fasteners and lift shifter straight up. Recommend placing all loose bits in a zip-lock bag to retain your sanity upon reassembly. I am doing this from memory as I am 500 miles from my car and manuals. Just go slow and don’t force anything as 30 year old plastic get brittle. ALWAYS LOOK FOR HIDDEN SCREWS & FASTENERS!!!!!!!
