MGA Sump Guard / Gas tank guard

Hi - does anyone know where I can get a sump guard and petrol tank guard for my MGA Coupe?  I have started rallying the car and want to get these items fitted before it's too late [:'(]

Simon, another couple of items that you'll probably have to have custom made for your car. I haven't run across either of those in any of the catalogs or web sites dealing with MGAs. You'll probably have to have mounting tabs welded to your frame for those, but that shouldn't be a major problem unless your chassis is powder coated, otherwise a little paint touch up and you should be fine.

You might contact Brown & Gammons at: sales@ukmgparts.com.  They may be able to help as they rally an MGA.  The leading authority on MGAs is Bob West his e-mail: SRX210@aol.com.

H Motorbill - I have already participated in a stage rally for historics.  Am also looking a hill climb in the summer a possibly a regularity trail at some point.

    Cheers

Simon:  Us colonials tend to treat our little "Cheap and Cheerful" roadsters as priceless crown jewels, not even allowed out in the rain.  Send us a description on how the home country boys really do use these cars for what they were designed to do - stage rallys, hill climbs, and what's a regularity trail, anyway?  I assume lots of mud is involved ...
