Hi, i have a L reg mini cooper single point injection, the problem is it sudenly cut out on me , it turns over ok but no attempt to fire up, we think it is a problem with the main relay/connection plug as one terminal is coroded,is it posible to get a new relay and plug without engine wiring harness,by the way when swithed on cannot here fuel pump,thanks Dennis.

Hi Dennis and welcome to the forum,

The relays are readily available but I don't believe the connector is available as a separate item! you will have to either cut one out of a breaker or clean the old one up. Pin 6 is the live feed to the pump by the way

I'm probably telling you things that you've already know but have you checked the fuel cut off switch? Its designed to cut off the fuel in the event of an accident but, through experience with friends cars, also has a tendency to cut off if you go over a particularly nasty speed bump or pothole...
