I think that I have isolated a problem I'm having to my distributor (see "hesitation at speed"). My vacuum advance is shot - there is no change in the engines rpm when I remove the vacuum advance from the carb. I can create a strong vacuum and get the advance to move a little but not much. I have one of the OPUS ballast distributors with an electronic ignition (Lumenition) but would be intertested in thoughts on the Petronix "flame thrower" distributor from Moss. Any thoughts from those more experienced? thanks as always.
