I have started the restoration of my 72 V-12, the question I have is can I remove the gas tank or do I need to clean it in place. I've removed the hold down bolts and can shift it around a bit but it does not look like it will go anywhere unless I cut it out. The car sat for 4 years and the tank is pretty bad inside. Any help or thougths would be greatly appreciated.

Ted, I'm pretty sure that tank comes out. Do you have a manual?
