well, not exactly, but close...

I have a Vanden Plas Princess 3 liter Mk2 with a 3.53 ratio MOWOG rear axle. The rear end (cage) cracked making a mess of things inside the great pumpkin such as the cage pin and one of the spider gears aren't even there anymore. Welding up the escape slit in the housing is no problem, the ring gear looks fine, and the pinion is not in too bad shape (a few small nicks noted). My question is this...anyone have a complete 3rd member sitting on the shelf they'd like to see go to a good home? OR...if someone has a good cage (ATC 7189) they'd part with (along with a few misc parts...) I can probably rebuild this gear pack. Most of the info I have found says this is a same/similar unit in a B7 or B8 car with non-overdrive 4 speed. My other option is less straight forward. Anyone know what else will fit/replace this unit?
