Rare MGBGT 1972 Automatic
Exterior
The bodywork is white and has the chrome bumpers. The bodywork is in very good condition and polishes up very well. There are a few small patches of surface rust but nothing noticeable. The tailgate is the only area of slight concern, where the previous owner painted a small area, with not great results. The B features a rag top roof which is in excellent condition and is black.
Interior
The interior is in black and dark blue. The carpets are in very good condition with no rips or tears. The seats are standard and very comfortable. I have recently fitted cream inertia seat belts to the front seats, this was in the interested of safety. Currently there is no stereo or speakers fitted to the car. The dash is in black and in very good condition. All gauges and switches work.
Engine and Gearbox
The engine is the straight four 1.8l. It currently has two progressive carbs fitted and I have recently replaced the air filters. The distributor is the 25d4 and I have recently replaced the rotor arm, cap, condenser and points. The gearbox is Automatic. This is very rare, I think one of only a few hundred, but provides a lovely drive.
Suspension and Brakes
The suspension and brakes are fully standard and work to a very high standard, the suspension providing a very smooth ride. I have recently had a new steering rack fitted and all of the tracking set.
