Help - Single Zenith to Dual SU conversion

I am trying to convert my single Zenith carb'd 1970 Spit Mk III to a Dual SU.  I purchased the SU's  from a guy who took them off his Canadian MKIII to convert to a Webber.  I seem to have everything I need except an inlet maifold that connects the engine to the Dual carb adapter.

I have the Dual SU's and all the ahrdware.  I have an adapter and heat shield that attach to the carbs, but doesn't attache to the engine.  There has to be something that goes inbetween the engine and this adapter.  Any help.

This subject just came up on another board yesterday. Saw this link. Good information even has some tuning information.

The car here is a Midget, but except for the clearance issue, the rest should apply to the Spit.

Thanks.  Might lead me to the correct manifold.
