    I am not sure what resolution the original image was done in - the possibility is always there.

    Further communes with our Art/Marketing gods will be needed.

    Re: "MOSS PUB" Possible Re-Print??

    Aloha Russ,

    Unfortunately, our Art/Marketing offices were disrupted and we were forced to relocate temporarily until the problems upstairs can be handled.

    I was able to grab the print from my desk and I have it sitting at my new temporary location. I hope to send it either today or tomorrow.

    Sorry about the slow reply and update - but things could not have been more hectic.

    mahalo and thanks for your patience,
    John ZK

    Re: "MOSS PUB" Possible Re-Print??

    Russ,

    You may be under the impression I am in Hawaii - and I likely am.... in my head.

    As to your hatred of snow, I learned my lesson early-on when I volunteered for Cold Weather Survival Training in the Marine Corps. They sent us to a place called Little Falls - afterwards we were given shirts that read "I froze my b***s in Little Falls" (it rhymes). Marine Corps humor was never that far from actuality.

    I am glad you got the print and hope you thaw soon enough.

    John

    Re: "MOSS PUB" Possible Re-Print??

    Wink  Hi There John;

    I simply wanted to let You know that the Print looks Great!!  The Print fits our Area like a Glove with All the Snow on Roof Tops etc:

    Please don`t mis-understand this:  You know what would really be neat looking in the Print:   One or Two Brit Cars Parked out front with their Tops Down!!  Just a Suggestion:

    It`s always nice to think You actually are in Hawaii:  Goleta can`t be nearly as bad as It is Here!!  Where is Goletta?  North, Central or South CA?  I visit "Irvine" about 4 times a yr. & Perhaps on the next trip, Have an Opportunity of Meeting with Yourself;  What do You Think?

    See Ya & Thanx Again;

    Regards,  Russ

    Re: "MOSS PUB" Possible Re-Print??

    Good Morning Russ,

    I am glad the print looks good - maybe you can take a shot of its new home and post it here?

    Take a suggestion the wrong way???

    Never.

    The artist that did the work originally did have some cars parked outside, it was decided that to represent all the marques would be too cumbersome (and to leave any of the marques out would likely offend the omitted car-owners). Since that was the take on the art when it was to be used on the cover, maybe I can ask him to do a mock-up with all the cars added....

    Anyways, just know, we are never opposed to suggestions around here - especially those from the community.

    Goleta is located right next to Santa Barbara - depending on traffic it would likely take you about 1.5 to 3 hours to get up here from Irvine (anything beyond 3 hours means you are likely sitting in a parking lot - which if you avoid rush hours, you should be fine).

     We always welcome visitors here at Moss Motors - I would recommend coming up here during the months of early August thru early December (those are our best weather months). Plan a day or two, as the city of Santa Barbara is too nice to just breeze through.

    Let me know,
    John ZK

    Re: "MOSS PUB" Possible Re-Print??

    Russ,

    Hawaii? Not just yet.

    I am not sure you would need to kill anyone for a copy of the new Moss Pub print - but you will definitely have to wait until we regain our normal offices again (we had been kicked out due to some needed maintenance work).

    The inquiries have been fairly limited, thank goodness since our department can't afford to send off free prints too often.

    But - we have at least two major surprises on the way for our forum users that I think everyone is gonna love.

    Until then, mahalo and keep the motoring happy!
