My first British car was a 1974 Austin Marina, and it's been down hill ever since.
I work at Moss Motors in an effort to balance income from British cars to outgoing expenses for British cars. So far the expenses seem to be winning. For some reason, my idea of fun is scraping grunge off bell housings and burning myself with welding sparks. What can I say, I'm a non-recovering Mechanical Anglophiliac.
I live in lovely Ojai, California with a lovely wife who tolerates my sickness, but makes me clean my fingernails before allowing me to touch her. I have now learn't how to wear latex gloves (in the shop, not elsewhere!) and that hand lotion is my friend. (that could be taken badly?)
I'm sneaking up on the half century and it's getting harder to work under the dashboard of cars each day, but I'm still young enough to appreciate Reggae music at full volume, even if the neighbors don't.
